PERIODS CARE IDEAS
Many girls /women needs special care during their periods cycle. They suffer from PMS ( Premenstrual syndrome), which includes moodiness, sadness, anxiety, bloating and acne. So they need some special type of care such as food, exercise, massages .
- Foods to eat 1. Water : Drink alot of water during periods. Drinking alot of water can stop you from bloating. It also prevents many other problems like acne, retaining water. 2. Fruits: Try to eat water rich fruits such as water melon, cucumber, strawberry, oranges. 3. Dark chocolate: Eating dark chocolate is very healthy as it contain iron and magnesium. A 100 gm bar of dark chocolate contains 67% of recommended daily intake (RDI) for iron and 58% of magnesium. 4. Nuts: Nuts are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium and vitamins. Try to eat nut butters, and drink smoothies. 5. Green vegetables: Eat leafy green vegetables as they are rich source of iron, which is essential component of blood.
- Foods to avoid 1. Coffee: Coffee causes digestive issues such as diarrhea, bloating. 2. Spicy foods: Avoid spicy food as it may cause heart burn, stomach pain. 3. Salt: Salt leads to water retention which may cause bloating. Reduce the intake of salt.
- Exercise: If you are suffering from menstrual cramps try to do light cardio exercise and yoga. '
